Seoul Nightlife: Unforgettable Experiences and Events
Nearly every weekend features an international or top-notch Korean act that gets the party going all night long. Don’t show up to a club until at least midnight, or else you will awkwardly be the only one inside. Clubs stay open until the last person walks out, usually 7-9 AM. Unlike clubbing in Las Vegas or Western Europe, the dress code in Seoul is not strictly enforced. You can dress up as much as you want if that’s your thing, but you don’t have t
Apgujeong is another trendy nightlife hub that’s located next to Gangnam. Rodeo drive is where all the craziness happens, with some of the priciest clubs and deluxe hotels in Seoul. If you’re not on a strict budget, then go to Apgujeong for dinner and drinks before heading out to Gangnam (but prepare your wallet). It’s just one metro stop away, and this area also has a college feel to it. There is a main strip lined up with bars and clubs that are cheap and fu
Located just a few hundred metres from the main Myeongdong action, Namdaemun Market is a sprawling shopping area frequented by locals and tourists alike in search of bargains. One of the best walks in Seoul at night, the Cheonggyecheon is a downtown public park and river walk that is it up and open 24 hours (just be careful not to fall in, especially on the stepping stones). Since its first edition in 2019, the DDP light show in Dongdaemun has attracted over 1 million visitors and is one of the most popular free, evening activities in Seoul. There are many places to buy beauty products late at night but Myeongdong is the ultimate shopping destination if you are looking for some K-beauty and skincare products and the newest beauty trends. The Seoul craft beer scene and brewery bars are on the rise in Seoul so it (thankfully) isn’t just about the bland mass produced beers like Cass or Terra. Private karaoke booths in Seoul at night are charged on an hourly rate (prices vary depending on the time of day) and they sometimes do special tourist discounts if you show your overseas ID or passpor

You can get really good shabu shabu from anywhere in Seoul. Generally, Seoul does meat and seafood really well, and if you choose street food stalls and food night markets over the higher end restaurants, you can get by on a relatively low budget. I’ll start with my personal favorites, Thursday’s or Corner Pub. These tend to have lively crowds, ample seating, and a good mix of locals and foreigners to meet. Both of them are like halfway between a bar and a club, so you’ll have a 링크모음365 vibrant atmosphere where you can dance, but can still sit down and chat as you drin
It started off with One Direction, then they’d play reggaeton, and then classic rock. But after a few drinks, it’s hard to stop yourself from going up on stage and dancing. I liked the crowd here, as it seemed that most people were here to have fun and not just hook up like in other clubs. As I said earlier, Hongdae loves their American rap music, and the vast majority of clubs I went to in Hongdae followed the same formul
This place doesn’t hit peak hours until 3-6 AM, so don’t worry about getting there 링크모음365 too late. As you can imagine what a club is like in the Ritz, this place is extremely posh and has some of the most attractive people who dress to impress. The interior resembles an 18th century ballroom, with crazy fancy decoration on the walls and ceilings. Now, try to picture that with big-ass speakers that blast house music, and it feels like you are raving in a time machine to the future. The sound system is on par with the best and there are neon flashing lights coming from every possible directio
Korea’s most popular alcoholic drink, soju 소주 is widely available in every bar, convenience store and supermarket. And soju is surprisingly cheap making it one of the least expensive drinks in Korea (often cheaper than mineral water and soft drinks) – another reason to love Seoul at night. Gwangjang Market is Seoul’s most famous street food market, a maze of market stalls and late night restaurants selling some of the best food you’ll likely taste in Seou

Just don’t wear shorts or flip flops because you will get denied entrance. Seriously guys, I’ve partied in pretty much every country and more cities than I can count, and nothing comes close to the insanity levels of Seoul. I’ve lived in Las Vegas and I’ve been to the clubs of Barcelona, Stockholm, Berlin, and Bangko
